Since palms can change every six months it's important to print those close to us, enabling us to track the changes in their lives. There is no greater gift than having the outline of those we love who have passed on, or the prints of our children that change so quickly.

Soap making workshops

The Eclectic Institute of Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies teaches both vegetable and goat's milk soap making workshops. Both workshops provide participants with all the information to successfully make homemade soaps safely.
Information covered:
*Essential oils
*Trouble shooting

Every class has a demonstration and all participants receive a sample of soap made in class to take home and enjoy.

Making Floral Waters

The distillation process is used to create practitioner grade essential oils and food grade floral waters (known as hydrolatas)  We will be distilling plant material  to create our own hydrolatas as well as sampling other waters created from many different plants.  We will discuss essential oils, hydrolatas and how to use them to our greatest benefits.  All participants will leave with a sample of the water created during the workshop.

                                                                    Flower Essence Making Workshop

Many cultures believe that dis-ease begins as an emotion and if not attended to will manifest physically as reoccurring pain or some form of disrupted health.  Flower Essences have the ability to break down the emotional blocks that are created during the need for self protection.  Though these tools of protection are helpful while working through the challenges of life, we often carry them longer than we need.  There comes a point when these once necessary tools no longer serve us and instead become a hinderance to our health and to our ability to move forward emotionally.  Flower essences are able to break through our blockages in a gentle, subtle way that allow for growth, health and balance.  Though Flower Essences are subtle, they are powerful healers on conscious and unconscious levels.  They have profound effects on pets and children and are perfectly safe for everyone.

In this course you will learn how to quiet the mind and connect to plants on a deep level.  The healing properties of the flowers will be shared with you directly from the plants.  You will learn to listen and decipher the messages received from the plants and use this information to make formulas that heal body, mind and spirit.  All participants will take home the essences made during class.

             Palmistry as a Tool of Diagnosis and Character Analysis

Once used as a diagnostic tool for physicians, the palms and hands give us insight into physical health and emotional well-being.  Learning to decipher the differences in hands and the meanings behind the individual characteristics, allows us to determine the strengths, weaknesses, and blockages in our clients.  Since hands can change every six months, they are a current reflection of who we are and the stresses we're under.

This is a science, there is no psychic or intuitive ability used or
needed.  This course offers all the necessary information to interpret the meanings of the hands, palms and lines.

Certification is awarded upon completion.

The information covered includes:
* The rules
* Comparing past to present
* Hand shapes and their meanings
* Printing palms and it's importance
* Fingers
* Mounds
* Flexibility
* Spaces
* Lines
* How to read between the lines
* Common oddities
